So I purchased these a few days ago,directly from amazon, thinking they would be like my previous Skull Candy Low Riders which I owned a few years ago. They were the white and red low riders. Anyway, I thought they would be just like that, boy was I wrong! The wire is extremely well protected compared to the previous generation- I don't think I have to worry about bending. I do have to be cautious with taking the wire out of my Ipod. As for the sound, I'm not impressed with the bass,then again I'm comparing this against my Denon DJ headphones which have a most excellent bass at costly price.I still think it was worth the money. The headphones are slightly flimsy, but I'm pretty cautious.Anyway, Skullcandy provides a warranty that let's you replace them if they brake at only half the cost!I would totally get these if your looking for some stylish,comfortable,and headphones with good sound stats.
Love them. Bought for a vacation with a plane flight involved. Watched my PBS Cranford/Return To Cranford series on my Mac and it had great sound while riding on the plane for several hours. They aren't noise cancellation headphones but they really keep outside noise at bay. No interference while watching my movies on the plane ride. Have taken to watching other movies at home on my Mac with these headphones because of all of the sounds that you hear while watching movies/shows. Things that you would miss when not listening through a headset. Great price as well and they swivel and collapse extremely easily for storage. Fits ears and head very comfortable for long periods of time with no complaints at all. If you are looking in this price range these Skullcandy's are a must buy.
